Lost
- Simon Revere Mouer III

When
love is gone
the world is dry
and thirsty

And
the suddenness
brings clear
the throb of the
missing, living
world

~

This poem also had no title when I wrote it, and I'm not sure the title I  give it now does it justice.  It is about the power of woman's love in a man's life that leads him to be a contributing part of society - and when that love is missing, then he is something apart from that society. I am not sure to whom it was dedicated.
